Description

CYMA is bringing the goods with the CYMA Sport M16A4 RAS Metal Gel Blaster!

An Electric Powered Gel Blaster AEG, designed to look like theM16A4 Rifle which is currently in service and used by the US Navy SOCOM Units. It was built by CYMA and is the perfect base for a DMR Build.

The blaster is built with an Alloy Receiver, Handguard, Outer Barrel, & Flip-Up Iron sights, with a Polymer Classic M16 Stock & Pistol Grip. The blaster features a Long Metal Quad Rail Handguard, and comes fitted with three Short 20mm RIS / RAS Rails and a Single Extra Large 20mm RIS / RAS Rail, which can be moved on the rail and used for a wide variety of aftermarket parts and attachments.

The blaster also features a realistic looking  Outer Barrel,  and is threaded with a 14mm CCW Thread allowing the attachment of a variety of  Muzzles, Suppressors and Tracer units. The Receiver of the blaster is a standard V2 M4 Receiver, and features a top 20mm RIS / RAS Rail for Sights and Scopes. The receiver is constructed from Aluminium.

The M16A4 also features flip-up Iron sights which can be used should the target come to close, or the main sight go down, and can be set flat when not in use so they do not get in the way. The rear of the blaster features a sturdy classic style M16 Stock which is where the battery is housed. The rear of the stock is massive and has battery space for days. The batteries use a Mini-Tamiya connector, the most common battery connector on the market. The gel blaster features a rear sling plate for attachment of slings to make it easier to carry throughout the day.

This gel blaster is the perfect purchase for any Gelsoft Skirmisher looking to start building a DMR or used as a platform to build your dream M16 style blaster.

DISCLAIMER
Do not upgrade any part of your toy gel blaster as this will void the warranty. Upgrades refer to pulling any of the blaster apart or opening it up, changing springs or upgrading the battery from 7.4v to an 11.v battery.

The Question gets Asked a lot. Are gel blasters legal in Victoria. The answer is not a simple yes or no. You can own and possess a gel blaster in Victoria with no issues if you have a collectors permit. These are usually obtained by joining a re-enactment club or approved participating clubs that deal with Replica weapons.
There have also been multiple cases in Victoria where the Magistrate has handed down a decision that a gel blaster is not a firearm or prohibited weapon.
Our advice is to go through the process, join a club and get your permit. That way you can blast away without the worry of breaking the laws.

You should always talk to your local law enforcement branch and let them know your plans. There would most likely be restrictions on activities regarding gel blasters in Victoria.

This article is not legal advice and is not intended as such.

We strongly urge all customers to make sure they are following the rules by contacting local law enforcement or seeking legal advice before purchasing.

In QLD Gel blasters are considered replica firearms and QLD residents have light regulations regarding gel blasters.

It is however an offence to go in public in QLD with a Gel Blaster as this might cause Alarm. We would assume the same would apply in all states of Australia.

Please do yourself a favour, do your due diligence before purchasing and make sure all laws are followed and please be safe.
