About Us

Tactical Edge Hobbies was established in December of 2016. We recognized that there was a gap in the market for Gel Ball blasters and were looking to get our foot in the door to an emerging industry and a product that we love ourselves. Our Gold Coast Store began in a garage, progressed to a small warehouse and is now located in our mega sized headquarters in Yatala providing all Gelsoft enthusiasts 600 square metres of gel blasting goodness.

Our Yatala location has a great vibe, the biggest range of products, a state of the art shooting range, technician services and amazing staff members who will go beyond expectations to make your experience memorable. We also have Gelsoft Australia next door - so customers can come check out our amazing indoor field and shop all in one visit. We look forward to seeing you at Yatala soon!

SHOOTING RANGE

Our shooting range at Yatala provides you, the customer with a unique experience. We have a state of the art target system suitable for time trial style competitions or alternatively just trying out new blasters before you commit to making a purchase.

LARGEST SELECTION OF GEL BLASTERS

At Tactical Edge Yatala we have gel blasters for every style of player! If you are new or have a tight budget we have our Noviceline, generally made from nylon, we have our Sportline providing Gelsoft players a step up into competition and harder game play made from a mix of Nylon & Metal or our Proline giving the user the ultimate gel blaster experience generally made from Metal with some Polymer. We also have the largest selection of brands - APS, ARES, Classic Army, WE Tech, EMG International, SLR Gelsoft, SRC, Wingun, CYMA, WELL, JinMing, LeHui, BingFeng plus heaps more!

LARGEST SELECTION OF TACTICAL GEAR & ACCESSORIES

At Yatala our Tactical Gear ranges from Milsim/Army Style to Speedsoft/SpeedQB Gameplay. We cater for a large array of players and game styles - Come & Check It Out in Store or Online.

THE BONEYARD AND CLEARENCE

We have a large array of products for sale in the Boneyard. Whether you like to tinker and learn how gearboxes and gel blasters work or are just collecting different styles of blaster - the boneyard is for you. Issues will vary per product as will pricing. We also have many products with store specific sales available - Just ask one of our friendly staff to assist you with any Boneyard or Clearance Products when you visit us in store.

Tech Department

Our Yatala Stores Tech Department is available to do repairs, upgrades or custom jobs and assist you with any questions you have about your gel blaster. Our technicians will provide you with professionally finished jobs that will leave the competition in the dust on gameday! We work on all gel blaster types - old or new. We use brands such as SRC, Lonex, Polastar, SHS, Fighting Bro, Laylax, Warhead, BIGGRRR, Kublai, Dytac, CowCow, ASG, Leviathon plus much more!

Below are our standard opening times. Don't forget we are open until 6pm from Thursday to Saturday every week.
