Eye Protection Is Non-Negotiable
Gel blasters fire at high speeds, and even though gels are soft, they can still cause serious eye injuries. Approved eye protection should be worn at all times when handling or using a gel blaster. Full covered goggles/eye wear or face masks offer the best protection. This is a non negotiable for all ages.
Treat Gel Blasters Responsibly
Gel blasters are legal in Queensland, but they must be treated responsibly. Never display or use a gel blaster in public places, and always ensure you’re playing on private property with permission or at a licensed venue. Respect the sport, other players, and the wider community to help keep gel blasting safe and accepted. Be aware that if a gel blaster is used not responsibly, it is against the law and is an offense.
Correct Storage & Transport Matters
When not in use, gel blasters should be stored securely. This means using locked cases, or secure storage solutions and keeping them out of reach of children. When transporting your blaster, ensure it is unloaded, stored in a bag or case, and not visible to the public. Gel blasters should not travel with you in the front seat of a car, but in the back. In the case of having a ute tray, if it isnt lockable place it behind your seat in the cab in a locked case or bag.
