Description
Golden Eagle Gel8881 Gas Powered Shotgun Gel Blaster
If you're into competitive shooting or simply like to see beverage cans explode in the garden, this is the M870 for you! The Golden Eagle Type 870 M8874 Tactical Shotgun makes a devasting target shooting platform with the added satisfaction of its awesome pump action mechanism and 3 or 6 shot fire modes.
This version is rocking an extended receiver rail with a built-in 5-shell "side saddle", allowing you to carry 5 extra shells on the side of the platform, well placed for fast access in the heat of the moment. Amongst the extended rails other perks are an extra QD sling socket on either side at the front and plenty of space to mount accessories, including the pre-installed Troy-style flip up iron sights.
Starting at the front of the Golden Eagle Type 870 M8874 Railed Gas Shotgun we are met with a wide outer barrel. This is typical shotgun fashion, where the wide barrel is required for fitting the shotgun slugs in. This isn't necessary for a gelsoft shotgun due to the small nature of a gel, but staying true to the Remington model 870 silhouette gains bonus points from realism fans and of course, it looks awesome!
Running along the top of the outer barrel we are treated to an extended 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for any 20mm accessories you choose to mount. This extended rail also includes a built-in QD sling socket on either side of the front and a shell holder on the left side of the receiver, providing room for up to 5 shells stored close to the action for rapid reloads. This extended rail is a slight departure from the classic M870 aesthetic but really makes this shotgun stand out and fit in nicely with other modern platforms.
Attached to the magazine tube we find the pump action handle. This black polymer piece has ridges on to ensure a sturdy grip when racking the Type 870 M8874. When racked back, it makes a satisfying clicking noise, which is also heard when pushing it back into place and arming the shotgun.
This shotgun features a safety control which is found at the rear of the trigger guard. It is a push-through style button. When it protrudes out the right side of the trigger guard the gun is on safe and the trigger locks, when it sticks out the left side, it is not on safe and can be fired if it is armed.
At the rear, we are equipped with the prolific M4/AR-15 buffer tube, compatible with almost every aftermarket M4/AR-15 stock on the market.

Soaking & Storage of Gels
When soaking the gels, they need to be absorbed fully submerged in water from the tap for a minimum of 5-6 hours.
Once they have fully grown you can leave them in the water and keep them in or out of the refrigerator.
When you are ready to use them just drain any excess water with a strainer before you feed them into the mag but do not dry them as they need to be lubricated to work properly.
You can store gel balls in a bucket of water with a lid for up to 3 months before they start to go super soft. We recommend that you do this to change the water every couple of weeks.
DISCLAIMER
Do not upgrade any part of your toy gel blaster as this will void the warranty. Upgrades refer to pulling any of the blasters apart or opening it up, changing springs, or upgrading the battery from 7.4v to an 11.v battery.
