Soaking & Storage of Gels

When soaking the gels, they need to be soaked fully submerged in warm water from the tap for a minimum of 4-6 hours.

Once they have fully grown you can leave them in the water and keep them in or out of the refrigerator.

When you are ready to use them just drain off any excess water with a strainer before you feed them into the mag but do not dry them as they need to be lubricated to work properly.

Not bad, if not fully grown the gels get a matt finish and does not work well. They need to be fully grown to maintain a glossy finish. Grow for about 2.5 hours.

They used to be my go to gels

While they used to be my go-to gels, their performance has been lackluster lately and there is a lack of consistancy within regards to grow times. The gels in question have also caused a host of issues that do not appear to be specifically related to grow size alone.

I really do wish TEH kept other gels on hand such as AKA, Predator V2 and others. Something as minor as this can make the difference between shopping at other stores. Recently I needed gels, a red dot sight and green gas, but I ended up purchasing all these items at another retailer because they had the gels I wanted.

This means TEH is losing money, and I need to travel an additional 20km in order to buy gels when I would much rather visit my local Tactical Edge Hobbies store less than a few minutes down the road and contribute to my bonus points.
