Acetech Brighter C Tracer Unit

The one star review guy must have gotten a dodgy one, I've got a couple of impressive looking videos of my 4 attached to a microgun. It illuminates the gels (tested x-force brand and ausgel) bright enough to clearly see in the daytime, and it's a constant stream - no missed flashes. At night? It gets star wars looking real quick. These are designed with gel balls in mind, inside the unit it is completely sealed from the barrel inside a clear plastic housing. Dropping one in a bucket of water would kill it, but moisture from a gel? Nope

As a disclaimer, these don't fit onto a microgun without engineering up adapters to take them, so please don't race out and get them for said microgun.

Despite its good build quality and easy to use no button design. The Acetech Brighter C is not designed nor does it work for gel balls. The unit will illuminate the first 2 shots before the sensor inside the unit become blocked with mist from the gel balls or gas residue from a GBB. Customer support blames this on user error (gel balls being too wet) but even if you run the balls so dry that you face feeding issue, the problem persists as this is an Airsoft product. Cleaning the tracer solves the issue but only for a couple more shots before it stops illuminating anything. It is designed for plastic bb's, not a water based gelball. For $120 the item is a complete lemon and a paperweight, only thing useful for 120 bucks was the thread adapter. Avoid these gimmick tracer units and the frustration or excuses you'll be given for why it doesn't work.

I only had limited success with a cym4 m4 that was stock at ~200fps everything else failed miserably. AusGel Glow gels were used , unit works fine when dropping gels manually with gravity, but once fitted to the blaster, they will block the sensor up so bad he unit turns itself off.
