The AAP-01 Assassin is the first gas blowback gelsoft pistol from Action Army Company. Renowned in the community for their upgrade parts, Action Army has expanded their product line into the gas blowback pistol market. Powered by green gas, the AAP-01 is capable of both semi-auto and full auto firing modes by flipping the fire selector on the underside of the bolt carrier. All of the controls such as the magazine catch, safety, and slide catch are either ambidextrous or reversible, making the pistol friendly for right-handed or left-handed users. The barrel is 14mm CCW threaded underneath the thread protector, making it compatible with most muzzle devices and accessories.

A completely new and original design externally, the AAP-01 still retains many internal cross-compatibility with current gas pistols. The magazine is based on G-series pistol designs. In addition to its own 14-round magazine, the AAP-01 is also compatible with G-series magazines from KJW, WE, and VFC, or any other magazine with the same specifications.

Although the AAP-01 Assassin is Action Army’s own design, its rather unique looks are based largely on the Ruger Mark IV, a 22 caliber target pistol known for its vintage shape and competition-level accuracy.   Unlike the Mark IV, however, Action army has cut various grooves and channels into the AAP-01’s frame and outer barrel, making it a little easier to grip when racking and gives it a little bit more of an angular look.   The gun itself is a little shorter and, being made of polymer rather than metal, is considerably more lightweight  but good use of metal internally in the bolt, barrel and magazine giving it decent weight but not making it too heavy.

This gel blaster pistol has been highly anticipated by many players for it’s light yet fast blowback action and loads of upgrade accessories.  It also has the ability to shoot in semi auto or full auto with the click of a switch and since it uses standard Glock -series magazines you should be able to easily find higher capacity extended mags or at least extra mags when needed.

Soaking & Storage of Gels

When soaking the gels, they need to be soaked fully submerged in warm water from the tap for a minimum of 4-6 hours.

Once they have fully grown you can leave them in the water and keep them in or out of the refrigerator.

When you are ready to use them just drain off any excess water with a strainer before you feed them into the mag but do not dry them as they need to be lubricated to work properly.
